Become a
Forward Deployed Engineer.

3 Months. One Goal. An engineer who can take AI from demo to deployment,
inside real businesses, from day one.

THE NEW HOT JOB IN AI

The Role Built for Where AI Actually Fails

70% of AI models stall after launch, not from bad models, but from lack of ownership. Forward Deployed Engineers close that gap. They sit between the AI and the business, making sure what gets built actually gets used, and keep improving it once it’s live.

Job postings for this role grew over 800% in the last year. Forbes and the Financial Times now cover it as a distinct career path, not a subset of software engineering. Companies building AI products are hiring for it directly, and there aren’t enough engineers trained to fill it.

WHO IS A FORWARD DEPLOYED ENGINEER

The Engineer Who Owns What They Ship

The Ask

Understand

Start with what the business actually needs, not just the stated requirement. Every build starts with the real problem statement, not the assumed one.

The Ground Reality

Deploy

Design and build the AI approach around real constraints: real data, real systems, real limitations. Then ship it into a live environment where real users depend on it.

The Long Game

Own

The job doesn’t end at launch. Watch it work, fix what breaks, and improve it based on how people actually use it.

The FDE Work Cycle

Understanding where business needs meet AI execution

Every FDE engagement moves through the same cycle, from understanding the problem to owning what happens after launch.

01
Read the Business First

Before touching a build, learn how the business actually runs day to day. The stated ask is rarely the full picture.

02
Frame the Problem Worth Solving

Turn a vague pain point into something specific enough to actually build against.

03
Map the AI Approach

Decide what the system needs to do, what data feeds it, and what success looks like in numbers.

04
Work Inside Real Limits

Build for the systems, data, and security already in place, not an ideal setup that doesn’t exist.

05
Put It Into Production

Ship the system into a live environment where actual users depend on it working.

06
Stay With It After Launch

Track how it performs, fix what breaks, and keep refining it based on real usage.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Curriculum Overview

A structured path from how modern AI systems actually work to building and deploying production-grade AI applications, with live project work built into every stage. A working knowledge of Python is expected going in. If you’re starting from scratch, Meii’s Python Full Stack track is built to get you there first.

Start with a real working understanding of how modern AI systems think, respond, and reason, not just how to prompt one well. You’ll learn how models process information, hold context, and generate output, along with the techniques used to guide their behavior reliably in real applications.

Any AI system is only as good as the data it can access and trust. This module covers how information gets processed, structured, and retrieved accurately at scale, the backbone work behind every AI application that actually holds up in production.

Move from single AI responses to autonomous systems that can plan, act, and coordinate across multiple steps and even multiple agents. You’ll also learn how to architect these systems to scale, stay available, and perform reliably under real usage.

Learn what it actually takes to run AI in production: connecting systems securely to real tools and enterprise data, and understanding the infrastructure decisions that determine whether a system performs well or falls over under load.

Learn to measure whether a system is actually working, catch failures before users do, and defend against the risks unique to AI systems. You’ll close the program working hands-on with the frameworks the industry is actively building with today.

What Makes Meii Academy Different

A 12 weeks curriculum built around how AI actually gets deployed, not how it’s usually taught.

Built Around Where AI Actually Breaks
Built Around Where AI Actually Breaks

Designed around the real reasons AI projects stall after launch, and trains engineers to fix those exact points, not just build models.

Live, In-Person Learning
Live, In-Person Learning

Classroom-based, not another self-paced video course. Real-time feedback, real accountability, every session.

A Real Internship, Not a Simulation
A Real Internship, Not a Simulation

Work embedded inside live projects during the program, not case studies or mock scenarios.

Mentor-Led, Not Lecture-Led
Mentor-Led, Not Lecture-Led

Guided by practitioners actively working in AI roles, reviewing your builds the way a senior colleague would.

Your Learning Journey

Curriculum Grounded in Real Deployment

Every module traces back to problems people have actually solved deploying AI inside live systems, not textbook scenarios.

Ongoing Guidance From People in the Field

Weekly reviews and feedback from mentors actively working in AI roles today, not full-time trainers.

Learn, Apply, Build

Every concept moves straight into a real build. Nothing stays theoretical for long.

Structured, Milestone-Based Execution

Clear goals, regular reviews, and iteration each week, not open-ended, self-paced learning.
